WHAT THIS JOB REALLY LOOKS LIKE

We want to be straight with you up front, because it saves everyone time.

This is a yard job. That means counting pipe, rolling pipe on and off trucks, sorting, stenciling, helping the inspection crew, and doing whatever else the yard needs that day. You will be outside every single day, in every kind of Colorado weather — scorching summer heat, blowing snow, icy cold. Whatever comes, you come to work.

You'll also run our front-end loader with forks, which is why hands-on forks experience is required for this position (more on that below). But read this part carefully: this is not a loader operator job. If your goal is to sit in a loader all day and let other people count and roll pipe, this isn't the right fit, and we'll figure that out fast. The people who succeed here are the ones who run the loader when it's needed and then get out and work alongside the crew the rest of the time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Verifiable front-end loader experience operating with forks. Bucket-only experience does not qualify for this position — moving pipe and other long material with forks is a different skill set, and we don't have the runway to train someone up from bucket. If you've run a loader with forks on a regular basis at a previous job, we want to talk to you.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

- Operate the front-end loader with forks to move and stage pipe in the yard

- Count and tally pipe accurately on every incoming and outgoing load — no exceptions, no shortcuts

- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely; roll pipe on and off racks

- Sort, stencil, and paint-code pipe to inspection results for multiple clients

- Maintain reliable pipe inventory as material moves between racks and inspection areas

- Support the tubing and casing inspection crew with drifting, hydro testing, and general yard work

- Occasional travel to well locations in Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming with the drill pipe crew; between jobs, work in our Greeley yard

REQUIREMENTS

- Must read, write, and speak English fluently — accuracy in documentation and communication is critical

- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and sustain physically demanding work throughout a full shift

- Strong attention to detail; we have zero tolerance for errors on counts and tallies

- Reliable and dependable — you show up, on time, ready to work

- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a crew

- Overtime is frequent and mandatory; Saturday mornings are required, with rare additional weekend hours as needed

- Must provide your own outdoor clothing suitable for rain and winter conditions, and steel- or composite-toe boots
