The LCRA Transmission Protection and Metering Team is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and curious Engineering Associate to design metering and relay & control (R&C) projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and explore new technologies in power system protection and metering.

- Design metering and R&C drawings for construction

- Coordinate with ERCOT for EPS Metering and Meter Registration

- Analyze meter data and investigate billing issues

- Research best practices for metering and R&C design for implementation in LCRA TSC standard designs

You Qualify With

- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science or related science.

- Driver's license

You Are a Great Fit With

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

- Background in Power Systems

- Experience with Protection, Metering, and Control Design

- Experience with SEL meters and relays

- Experience with AutoCAD
