As a Valve Technician at EnerMech, you’ll be part of a hands-on, solutions-driven team that supports global industrial operations. You’ll work closely with internal workshop teams, operations staff, clients, and site managers, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This role requires flexibility, technical depth, and the ability to lead and execute in both field and workshop environments — domestic and international, onshore and offshore.
Perform all related mechanical assemble , disassemble , installation and testing of various types of valves including but not limited to the valves listed below.
- Pressure safety valves (PRVs/PSVs)
- Thermal and vacuum relief valves
- Ball, gate, plug, and metering valves
- Control valves, including calibration
- Conduct on-site live testing using test units; perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
- Diagnose and repair gearboxes, actuators (rotary, linear, pneumatic, electric), and drive systems.
- Machine valve seats and flanges on-site (boring/milling); manufacture adaptors as needed.
- Use hydraulic/pneumatic bolting and injection equipment.
- Read piping, isometric, and schematic drawings.
- Lead personnel during shutdowns and manage field projects end-to-end.
- Document work clearly in reports, Excel sheets, and client data systems.
- Train apprentices and prepare/manage work packs.
- Trade certification in mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience testing/repairing PRVs/PSVs and mechanical isolation valves.
- Competency in hydrostatic/gas testing and valve diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of standards: API, ASME, NACE.
- HSE experience, with ability to identify risks and lead safety protocols.
- Valid manual driver’s license.
- First Aid certified.
- Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect license (D-Lic).
- Rigger and forklift licenses.
- Familiarity with machining, welding, and bolt tensioning.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and calibration practices.
- Ability to use EnerMech-specific equipment and software.
- Strong communication across email, phone, and reporting tools
