A Material Handler at Copeland in Brantford, ON is responsible for the movement and organization of materials within the facility, using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. They locate, transport, and store materials, ensuring they are delivered to the correct locations for production, storage, or shipping. They also assist with quality control, inventory management, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loading, unloading, and transporting materials using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
Locating and storing materials in designated areas, including raw materials, finished goods, and other items.
Assisting with product and material audits, and inventory checks in storerooms and warehouses.
Ensuring the proper receipt of shipments, validating shipping details, and assisting with quality control processes.
Operating equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to OSHA regulations and company procedures.
Working with team members and leaders to coordinate material movement and address any issues.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA), the compensation for this role is $22.50 CAD per hour
