Job Title: Gas Station Store Cashier

Job Overview: A Gas Station Store Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing transactions at the fuel station store. The cashier handles various duties, including processing payments, assisting customers, stocking merchandise, and ensuring the store operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, providing receipts and change as needed.

- Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including shelving products and ensuring the store is presentable.

- Assist customers with fuel-related inquiries or requests.

- Monitor fuel pumps and ensure proper operation.

- Refill merchandise shelves, including snacks, beverages, and convenience store items.

- Keep track of inventory and report low-stock or out-of-stock items to management.

- Enforce store policies and safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.

- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing the store and cash register.

- Maintain knowledge of store promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to inform customers.

- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to the supervisor when necessary.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prior experience in a retail or cashier role is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register.

- Ability to handle money, make change, and process various types of payments.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
