Paramount Utility is seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee telecommunications construction projects including underground, aerial, and splicing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring job site safety, maintaining quality control, coordinating with subcontractors, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Supervise and coordinate field crews performing underground, aerial, and fiber splicing work.
- Ensure projects are executed according to engineering plans, permitting requirements, and company standards.
- Conduct daily job site inspections and enforce safety compliance (OSHA, DOT, and company policies).
- Review and verify work progress, redlines/as-builts, and project documentation.
- Communicate project status with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and crew scheduling to meet project milestones.
- Resolve field-level conflicts and escalate issues as needed.
- Verify and approve daily production, timecards, and job tracking data.
- Support training and mentorship of field staff to uphold quality and safety culture.- 3+ years of construction supervisory experience, preferably in telecommunications or utilities.
- Strong knowledge of underground and aerial fiber optic installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, prints, and permits.
- Familiar with relevant safety regulations (OSHA, NESC, MUTCD, etc.).
- Proficient in using tablets, project tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel to job sites and work in varying weather conditions.
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience with directional drilling, microtrenching, or splicing is a plus
