Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics process by ensuring that incoming shipments are unloaded, organized, and prepared for distribution. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail, as well as familiarity with various warehouse operations and equipment.

Duties

- Safely unload products from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment.

- Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.

- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.

- Perform order picking duties as needed, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.

- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during shipping and receiving processes.

- Adhere to OSHA safety standards while operating machinery and handling materials.

- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as cranes and forklifts to ensure proper functionality.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred.

- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and materials handling best practices.

- Experience operating various warehouse equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.

- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.

- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation is beneficial.

- Experience in shipping & receiving processes will be advantageous.
