MD Core is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts and possesses excellent technical accounting skills.

Responsibilities

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Prepare and record journal entries for various transactions

- Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Assist with tax preparation and filing

- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role

- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, including debit and credits

- Proficiency in using accounting software NetSuite

- Solid understanding of financial concepts and practices

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
