Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Factory Worker and become a vital part of our innovative production facility! This energetic role offers hands-on involvement in various manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality output and efficient operations. As a Factory Worker, you will engage with advanced machinery, assist in assembly and fabrication tasks, and uphold safety and quality standards across the plant. - Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and adherence to standards.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or production floor, including materials handling with forklifts when certified.
- Assist in assembly line operations, including packaging finished products and preparing items for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, fabrication, machining, and tooling.
- Prior factory or manufacturing experience is highly preferred; familiarity with industrial machinery is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is advantageous.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings is essential for precise work.
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in manufacturing tasks.
- Experience with fabrication processes including welding, stamping presses, or tool setup is desirable.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent attention to detail ensures quality output.
