Calibration Technician – Atlanta, GA (100% Travel)
Travel: 100% (local and overnight, depending on assignment)
Are you ready to take your calibration career on the road? Tektronix, a global leader in test and measurement solutions, is looking for a Calibration Technician based in Cincinnati, OH, to join our field service team. This role requires 100% travel to customer sites—supporting a variety of calibration disciplines critical to industries that shape the future.

- Deliver high-quality calibrations across RF, electrical, dimensional, pressure, torque, and temperature equipment
- Follow calibration procedures and standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100)
- Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of all calibration activities
- Maintain and verify calibration standards, escalating issues as needed
- Travel 100% of the time from your Cincinnati base to customer sites nationwide
- Support setup and breakdown of mobile labs and onsite workstations
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding status and service updates
- Work closely with your team and leadership to meet service goals
- Cross-train in multiple disciplines and support onboarding of new team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team success
- Follow safety procedures and standard operating protocols
- Maintain audit-ready work environments
- Support quality assurance efforts such as lean practices and internal audits
- 1–3 years of calibration experience in a lab or field setting
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and general calibration standards
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% (including overnight stays)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and technical documentation
- Experience with RF/general purpose calibration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with FSM, CalWeb, or Gage systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
