Job Summary
Responsible to the assigned supervisor for performing entry-/intermediate-level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.

What We're Looking For
Based on education, experience and interview, this opportunity will be filled commensurately at either title. For this posting, minimum requirements are stated at the lower grade. Increased expectations are at the higher grade.
Engineer (mid-level) (grade 6) = bachelor's degree in engineering + two (2) years of experience; OR, may be considered entry-level with a master's degree in engineering
Engineer Associate (grade 5)
= entry-level with bachelor's degree in engineering
Has typically acquired zero to two (0-2) or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; OR,
May be considered entry-level at grade 6 with a Master’s degree or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET; Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico* is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master’s degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor’s program.* Confirmation is required to ensure the PE obtained in Puerto Rico aligns with NCEES standards.
What You'll Get Base Salary: approximately $62,000 - $90,000 In addition to base salary, AEP offers competitive Total Rewards including: discretionary annual incentive, 401(k), pension, health insurance, vacation, educational assistance, etc.
