Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Non-Commercial Driver's License Pick Up and Delivery Driver for the DFW area. This role involves safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and warehouse operations, contributing to smooth logistics operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Safely operate flat bed trucks and other delivery vehicles with a valid Texas driver’s license.

- Pick up and deliver goods across designated routes within the DFW area, ensuring timely arrivals.

- Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, adhering to safety protocols.

- Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness.

- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by customers or clients.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally during deliveries.

- Follow route plans efficiently, adjusting as needed for traffic or unforeseen delays.

Skills

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with flatbed trucks or similar vehicles.

- Strong knowledge of route driving within the DFW area.

- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and move items safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual techniques.

- Warehouse experience is a plus for handling inventory and loading/unloading tasks.

- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.

- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
