Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and team leadership. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient inventory control, distribution processes, and overall warehouse performance. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment while optimizing operations to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and distribution processes.

- Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the warehouse.

- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the warehouse environment.

- Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to foster a high-performing team culture.

- Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, including 3PL partnerships when necessary.

- Maintain accurate records of inventory control and materials handling processes.

- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

- Provide mechanical knowledge support for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse management with a focus on logistics and distribution.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and systems (AS400 experience is a plus).

- Familiarity with e-commerce operations and the unique challenges they present in warehousing.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred.

- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.

- Experience in process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency.

- Knowledge of materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting protocols.

- Understanding of shipping & receiving processes within a fast-paced environment.
