We are a thriving and expanding manual & CNC machine shop looking for a qualified, hard-working machinist with programming expertise to join our team. - Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools,
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance,
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments,
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances,
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers),
- Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces,
- Set up, operate and maintain conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools (Bridgeport CNC lathe, Ikegai CNC lathe, Fadal (4 axis vertical machining center), Mazak (4 axis vertical machining center) and Doosan (3 axis vertical machining center)
- We use GibbsCam programming software, have a number of manual machines and will be adding additonal mills and lathes.
