Job Title: Equipment Technician Reports to: Equipment Manager Location: Various sites across Chicagoland area

As a growing company, we are seeking skilled, hard-working people who want responsibility and growth. The Equipment Technician is responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, and improvements on car wash equipment and facilities. Most importantly, the ideal candidate is:

- Experience in repair role – mechanic, technician, maintenance, etc. No car wash experience needed.
- Repair and maintain car wash equipment and facilities for various sites throughout Chicagoland
- Make necessary programming adjustments for best-in-class wash quality
- Ensure optimal functioning equipment to wash cars safely
- Trades include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, controls
- Train on-site managers to troubleshoot recurring issues
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and well-organized service vehicle
- Maintain accurate records related to work orders and payroll
- Daily local travel between car wash locations.
- Be on rotation schedule for on-call weekend support (approximately once per month)
- 1-5 years of technical support experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment / tools
- Comfort working outdoors, around water, chemicals, and mechanical systems
- Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use a phone/tablet for work orders and payroll
- Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, PLCs, and sensors is a plus
- Frequent driving between sites
- Standing, bending, lifting, climbing ladders
- Working in wet, noisy, or hot/cold environments
- Responding calmly to urgent equipment issues
- Hourly pay $20-30/hr depending on experience
