This is a full time, exempt position with a 4-day work week!
Position Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for assisting with oversight of inventory functions within the organization. The duties performed may include, but are not limited to the following:
•Provide inventory control data and reports as required.
•Maintain inventory count accuracy.
•Update database with incoming and outgoing finished goods and materials.
•Inspect returned merchandise.
•Organize, track, and arrange delivery of recycled materials.
•Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed.
•Maintain safety and follow all safety guidelines while using equipment and tools.
•Be an active member of the Safety Committee; participate in monthly meetings and inspections.
•Receive and store incoming finished goods and materials (load and unload deliveries).
•Deliver and pick up materials from different various locations within the organization.
•Assist with packaging and shipping materials to customers and outside services.
Job Requirements
•Experience with ERP/MRP data entry systems.
•3+ years’ experience in an inventory role.
•General computer skills and other office technology proficiency; Microsoft Office Applications.
•Experience with budget management.
•Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
•Great written and verbal communication skills.
•Must be available to work 40 hours per week, with a proven excellent attendance record.
•Forklift certification a plus.
Education & Experience
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Manufacturing experience a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
•Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
•Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, copy machine, etc.).
