We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist/Millwright to join our team. This critical role involves working across both indoor and outdoor environments, with a primary focus on ensuring operational efficiency by quickly responding to, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment failures.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in HVAC, machining, or general manufacturing, coupled with strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. This position has a growth potential for the right candidate.
This is a first shift position, with hours from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
The Millwright will repair, maintain, and facilitate installation of industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations.
Required Skills/Abilities: · Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment.· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.· Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. · Ability to use various hand tools.· Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines, rules, and laws. · Must be self-motivated with strong time management skills.
High School diploma or equivalent with 1 – 3 years in a similar role.
Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. · Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery.· Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines.
