Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Person to join our dynamic team! Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems. Duties

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.

- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated equipment and processes efficiently.

- Read schematics and technical diagrams accurately to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to electrical work and mechanical repairs.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal team requests promptly and professionally.

- Support manufacturing or operational teams by maintaining equipment uptime and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance.

Experience

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.

- Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.

- Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is a plus but not required.

- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, working at heights or confined spaces when necessary. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
