The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring all production equipment, tooling, and facility systems operate safely, reliably, and at peak performance. This working-manager role oversees maintenance activities, handles hands on troubleshooting, and drives equipment uptime across the plant. Strong mechanical and electrical backgrounds are required.

· Lead, schedule, and execute maintenance activities to support continuous production.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on spring-making equipment, ovens, grinders, coiler, and support systems.
· Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
· Minimize equipment downtime through timely troubleshooting and effective root-cause analysis.
· Maintain spare parts inventory and manage vendor relationship for repairs and supplies.
· Ensure all machinery meets safety, compliance, and operations standards.
· Train operators and maintenance tech non proper equipment use, basic troubleshooting, and PM tasks.
· Coordinate major equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and installations.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, workflow, and throughput.
· Maintain accurate documentation, repair logs, and equipment manuals.
· Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure that they are compliant with company policies and standards.
· Responsible for ensuring all outside contractors adhere to all Company policies and safety protocols and procedures, and for maintaining through documentation of compliance.
· Other projects and duties as required / assigned.
Directly supervises employees in the maintenance department in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees: planning, assigning, and directing the work of the maintenance teams. Appraise performance and responsible for the development of each team member in the maintenance area.
· Prior experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred but not required.
· Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on knowledge of industrial equipment.
· Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and industrial control systems.
· Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
· Strong problem-solving skills and urgency in addressing equipment issues.
