The Yard Laborer supports the Logistics department by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe yard environment. This role is responsible for storing, moving, and staging materials used by Viking Utility—an electrical contractor for FPL. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in an outdoor environment year-round.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the yard

- Load, unload, move, and store materials as directed

- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely and efficiently

- Assist with security and maintenance in the yard

- Support fleet supervisors with vehicle transportation

Required Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license

- Previous forklift experience

- Ability to lift and move materials on a regular basis.

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.

Schedule:

- Full-time, day shift from Monday to Friday.

- Overtime as needed.
