Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance, with experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. This role offers an engaging environment where leadership, technical expertise, and customer service skills are valued to maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.

- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.

- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs and residential painting as needed.

- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust equipment performance.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate repairs.

- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance or manufacturing equipment upgrades.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.

- Lead or support team efforts in continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.

Experience

- Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance, including troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical components.

- Hands-on knowledge of PLC programming and operation is highly desirable.

- Skilled in welding techniques, electrical work, residential painting, and schematics interpretation.

- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is preferred.

- Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is a plus.

- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with Ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools.

- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work and collaborate with team members. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks combined with strong technical skills to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
