Job Description:
We are seeking motivated individuals for a temporary field data collection project with possibility of future projects. The role involves working in teams of two to take photos and measurements of utility poles. Our current Michigan projects are in the Battle Creek/Springfield areas.
Key Responsibilities:
•Collect data on utility poles by taking photos and measurements.
•Walk 3-5 miles per day to complete data collection tasks.
•Use provided collection equipment effectively.
•Utilize cell phone and/or laptop to navigate a browser based environment and keep track of data collected
Requirements:
•Reliable transportation.
•Physically active and able to walk 3-5 miles daily.
•Must be able to communicate professionally
•Adhere to all ANSI safety standards at all times
•Basic technical skills: ability to use a cell phone and laptop in a browser environment.
•Experience with Katapult Pro is preferred but not required.
Compensation:
•Performance-based pay: $5.50 per pole collected, per person.
•Opportunity to collect data on 6,000 to 7,000 poles.
Additional Information:
•Collection equipment will be provided (excluding cell phone).
•Work is conducted in teams of two
•Should be comfortable working in unfamiliar locations and willing to interface with homeowners as needed
