We have an immediate opening for an experienced Inventory Clerk.
Purpose: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely tracking of equipment to meet customer requirements and in accordance with Valiant’s policies and procedures.
Perform timely and accurate data entry in the ERP (NetSuite), including but not limited to, all shippers (ESP, coating, pre-coating, HPS, HPS paint and PSI, etc.) and all receivers.
Review, check, proofread and correct, if necessary, the content of various records, reports and forms assuring accuracy and completeness of the information prior to dissemination or further use of the data to produce various reports.
Analyze, tabulate and/or transfer data from various sources, both internal and external, to computer spreadsheets, databases, or computer systems; maintain and update data in accurate and timely manner so that it provides current data to users.
Collaborate with the warehouse to provide and receive information.
Work with various teams such as inventory, sales, operations, field service, shipping, etc. Cross-functional coordination, clear communication, and integrated planning are keys to success in this role.
Review and correct shippers to accurately match inventory going to job sites to assure correct accounts are charged.
Conduct research to locate information, answer inquiries, verify data or facts and respond to customer concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
Comply with Company policy and procedures, whether written or communicated verbally, including the instructions and directions from individuals in direct supervisory positions.
- Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, inventory, or similar role.
- Minimum of one year experience in an oilfield business environment preferred for this position.
- Experience in artificial lift preferred.
- Intermediate computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Outlook, Internet, proficient with Excel, data import/export and structure and Net Suite)
