General Warehouse Worker

Founded in 1925 and a leader in the production of Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys long products, Acciaierie Valbruna is a privately-owned company employing more than 2,500 globally. The company’s products include wire rods, round and hexagonal coils and bars, angle bars, rebar profiles, flat bars, square and billets, forged metals and wire. Our Canadian division Valbruna Canada Ltd., Located in Milton, ON is seeking a Sales Representative.

We are looking for a full-time employee that wants to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Responsibilities Include

· Filling pick orders, package and tag for shipping

· Loading and unloading trucks and containers using overhead crane and/or forklift.

· Maintain an organized inventory

· Other warehouse duties to keep work area clean and tidy

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications

· Minimum two years warehouse experience, preferably in the steel industry

· Experience in forklift and overhead crane operation

· Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills

· Able to solve problems

· A reliable, dedicated team player

· Effective communication skills

· This person should be able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Overhead Crane Certified would be an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
