As an Associate Drafter Designer, you’ll use drafting design software to design, develop and maintain electrical, mechanical and architectural drawing designs used for the construction and commissioning of electric power facilities.
The accuracy of our work is tied directly to the reliability of the Vermont power grid. We provide our team the tools they need to build and maintain the facilities that deliver energy to Vermont and the rest of New England.
How You Will Make An Impact
As a member of the Engineering team, you’ll bridge the gap between abstract ideas and tangible plans, working with software to create precise specifications and documentation that our engineers rely on. You’ll update and refine existing drawing based on changes in design, field data, or feedback from engineers or other team members. Our Drafter Designers also play a crucial role in supporting document management by ensuring the creation, accuracy, organization, and retrieval of technical drawings.
Responsibilities
Who You Are High School Diploma or GED required. Associates in an engineering/technical discipline or equivalent experience is preferred. 0-2 years drafting experience required, 2+ years of experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Compensation Range
$24.67 - $34.54
This compensation range represents the minimum and maximum pay for this position. Individual offers will be based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, education, skills, competencies, and experience. Please note that most offers for new employees fall under the midpoint of the range, allowing room for continued salary growth. Base pay is just one component of our total compensation package, which may also include comprehensive benefits, generous paid time off and incentive compensation (bonus) potential.
