We are looking for Directional Drilling Personnel for the North Carolina market.
Position Details
The crew would include one Drilling Foreman, one Drill Locator, and one Drill Operator.
Responsibilities
•Operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, locating systems, trencher, backhoe, and excavators;
•Install underground telecommunications cable conduit, including fiber optic cable;
•All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to loading, digging removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment;
•Perform job site analysis (JSA), including completion of paperwork;
•Ensures safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities;
Qualifications
•A minimum of 3 years of Directional Drilling experience;
•A valid, non-restricted CDL Class A/B is a must;
•Proven experience in heavy construction equipment operations with emphasis on drilling and boring machines operations;
•Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and drive or ride in a vehicle for long periods of time;
•Work up to 6 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required;
