Position Responsibilities

The Plant / Wellfield Operator position will be responsible for daily operations of the plant facilities, wellfield facilities and waste disposal well facilities. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Daily record keeping of activities at each facility.

· Sample gathering as required.

· Adding/Modifying/Repairs to piping & pumps in all facilities as required.

· Daily maintenance of company vehicles and equipment including but not limited to oil changes, greasing, preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, off-site delivery of vehicles/equipment to 3rd party shops, etc.

· Starting and stopping pumps within the plant, wellfield, and waste disposal well.

· Alignment of valves.

· Adjusting flow rates.

· Filter media changing.

· Washing down and cleaning plant and tank entries.

· Working with chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, oxygen, and carbon dioxide.

· Pump installations.

· General electrical work.

· General housekeeping of the facilities such as shredding, mowing, and edging.

· Operate forklift to unload deliveries, move equipment, and any other operations that a forklift would be required.

Job Requirements

· This is an hourly paid position that involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Job training will be provided for this position.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds continuously.

· Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, follow company safety policies and practices and engage in a strong safety culture.

· Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

· Applicants must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing as a prerequisite to employment.

Qualifications

· A high school diploma and knowledge maintenance are required.

· A valid driver’s license is required – willingness to obtain a Class A CDL is beneficial.

· Must have the ability to safely work independently, as well as part of a team setting.

· Must have the ability to follow standard operating procedures.

· Basic mechanical skills and field equipment knowledge.

· Basic computer skills and office equipment knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
