SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) is a strategic leader responsible for driving the integrated business planning process across the entire organization. This role ensures alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans to optimize service levels, inventory performance, and operational efficiency. They will partner with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Operations, Sales, and Sourcing—to deliver accurate forecasts, agile supply responses, and data-driven decisions that support business growth and profitability. This position plays a critical role in shaping the company’s planning culture, enabling continuous improvement, and fostering collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- Lead the end-to-end SIOP process, including demand planning, supply planning, financial reconciliation, and executive plan review.
- Champion continuous improvement of SIOP processes to ensure scalability, sustainability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the functional expert and primary point of contact for all SIOP-related initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Sourcing to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and support strategic goals.
- Translate business objectives into actionable strategies and planning deliverables.
- Aggregate and present performance data for leadership reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and progress against goals.
- Oversee the forecasting and demand planning process to ensure timely and accurate sales projections.
- Support the adoption of best practices and tools to enhance forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams in demand planning and ERP data management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Education Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or other business related field preferred.
- Experience 10+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or master scheduling, 7+ years in a manufacturing environment, proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement- Licenses/Certificates APICS certification preferred
- Technology/Equipment strong proficiency in ERP systems and excel
- Travel ability to travel up to 15% of the time
