Position Summary: The ERP & Accounting Support Specialist is responsible for processing receivables as well as assist with month end and year end close processes while also providing research driven insight on efficient utilization of the ERP system.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Process receivables inside ERP system Global Shop Solutions

· Submit invoices in Caterpillar portal “Webforms” upon shipment of parts

· Work with Caterpillar to manage invoice history

· Manipulate system data to conform with specific invoice submission processes for GE Healthcare

· Oversee collections and ensure notices are sent to any customers who have overdue invoices

· Assist Accounting Manager in completing month end and year end journal entries whenever necessary

· Perform cash applications when payments are received

· Manage, process, and prepare commercial invoices and pack slips for International GE locations

· Develop, recommend, and implement various new processes within GSS

· Research new avenues in which processes can be improved through the use of GSS

· Engage with other department managers to find ways to improve the use of GSS

· Analyze existing accounting processes and recommend improvements for automation and efficiency within GSS

· Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees on how to effectively use GSS

Skills/Knowledge

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes

- Project management skills

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

- Experience with ERP systems

- Advanced skills in MS office, particularly Microsoft Excel

- Must be a team player with strong organizational and collaboration skills

- Must be an excellent communicator, able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent form of experience/education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
