THE OPPORTUNITY:
Tundra is excited to announce an opportunity for a
Joint Venture Supervisor
, based in our
Calgary
office. The successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule.
As the leader in the Joint Venture function, you’ll provide direction to the team across Tundra’s asset base in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Fostering strong and accountable relationships with partners and midstreamers, you’ll be ensuring value for our product and transparency in accounting practices.

: Vice President, Land
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
:
•Leading commercial joint venture discussions with internal and external parties
•Mentoring and developing joint venture team members
•Negotiating new gas handling agreements and optimizing existing agreement terms
•Supervising the negotiation, preparations, approval and execution of standard joint venture agreements
•Working with Land, Production Engineering, Exploitation, Production Accounting and Finance teams to optimize and report on product recoveries, fees, third party revenue and new business opportunities
•Evaluating and making commercial recommendations based on area reviews
•Evaluating and delivering on budget forecast fees, unitized partner development and non-operated assets
•Reviewing and negotiating fees at non-operated facilities
•Ensuring that a positive relationship is maintained across interdisciplinary teams through regular and transparent discussion and reporting
WHAT YOU NEED:
•A Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in a business discipline
•Minimum of 10 years in a Joint Venture role
•Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position
•Advanced knowledge in Joint Venture/Oil and Gas systems including Microsoft Office, CSLand, Qbyte, Optix and AFE systems would be an advantage
•Oilfield production and operations knowledge is considered an asset
