ROLE OVERVIEW: The Appointment Setter and Specialist role is responsible for prospecting, setting and closing solar consultations with homeowners through door-to-door efforts. This is a customer-facing field-based sales position requiring strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to work independently while being coachable within a team environment. Candidates must be goal: oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Prospect residential neighborhoods, educate homeowners on solar benefits, and secure consultation appointments.
•Attend scheduled consultations and deliver professional solar presentations to close sales .
•Use a personal cell phone, CRM systems, applications, and company software to track and update customer information.
•Communicate daily performance updates to leadership through designated reporting systems.
•Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and conversion goals.
•Work scheduled shifts including rotating weekends, as required.
•Attend and actively participate in ongoing training sessions, coaching meetings, and planning meetings.
•Collaborate with field coaches and leadership to improve skillsets and sales performance. Maintain a professional and positive attitude representing Tron Solar's values in the field.
•Travel within assigned territories and occasionally outside local markets as needed for blitzes, training, or expansion efforts.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Proven work ethic and self-motivation with a track record of success in direct sales or customer-facing roles (solar, home improvement, alarm, or similar industries preferred but not required).
•Must possess a personal cell phone with reliable service for daily business use.
•Ability and willingness to use CRM systems, apps, and digital tools for tracking and performance updates.
•Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work rotating weekends and flexible schedules.
•Willingness to travel for sales blitzes, trainings, or market expansions.
•Openness to coaching, training, and leadership development.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
•High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not mandatory.
•Reliable transportation.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
