Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Environmental Manager to lead our environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee environmental projects. Your expertise of permitting regulations at the state and federal level will be key in securing the necessary permits for Energy Related Projects.
- Oversee Environmental Projects including but not limited to delineations, permitting, and federal/state agency coordination.
- Lead environmental assessments, including data collection, site inspections, and environmental impact studies.
- Manage water resources projects utilizing GIS.
- Prepare and submit environmental permits, reports, and documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Coordinate environmental remediation efforts, including site cleanup, hazard assessments, and geotechnical engineering considerations.
- Collaborate with project teams on civil engineering design using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Drafting software to support construction and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor environmental law updates and ensure organizational adherence to regulations related to oil & gas,, construction, and other energy sectors.
- Manage project schedules using project management tools to ensure timely delivery of initiatives while maintaining high standards of environmental compliance.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, wastewater treatment systems, and environmental remediation techniques.
- Expertise in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping; experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation for drafting and civil engineering design.
- Project management skills with experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and team coordination.
- Deep understanding of environmental law, EPA regulations, permitting processes, and environmental compliance standards across multiple industries including state specific oil & gas regulations.
- Experience in environmental consulting or research roles that involve data collection, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
