We are seeking experienced HRSG Construction and Commissioning Leads to join our team in the United States. You will play a vital role in overseeing the construction and commissioning phases of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in line with our company's mission.
Position Required: Multiple HRSG Construction Advisors and Commissioning Advisors.
Project Duration: Continued deployment for the next 12-36 months
Working Hours: 40 hours Mon-Fri, with the possibility of increasing to 50-72 hours depending on project needs. OT after 40 hours a week
Execution of installation and commissioning works related to the discipline in charge, which are to be compliant with safety, quality, schedule, and respective budget
Supervise the positioning of the template and embedded pieces before the concrete pour.
- Review heavy lift plan for HRSG modules & drums.
- Supervise the assembly of the primary & secondary steel structures and access platforms.
- Supervise HRSG casing panel, field insulated joints installation to avoid hot spots
- Supervise HRSG modules and drum installation.
- Supervise HRSG piping installation, proper positioning of valves & instruments, welding, NDT, heat treatment up to hydro test & preservation.
- Prepare hydro test plan & supervise execution.
- Prepare flushing of piping systems, chemical cleaning, and air or steam blows to meet cleanliness requirements.
- Supervise the safety valves and the removal of hydro plugs.
- Perform final audit of HRGS before GT's first fire.
- Supervise piping thermal insulation.
- Supervise paint application.
- Provide technical recommendations on installation technique, tools, and resources.
- Interface with the HRSG Vendor office.
- Participate in the site coordination meeting and schedule a progress review.
- Fully acquainted with the site-specific rules, safety regulations, and environmental protection measures, they perform their work accordingly.
- Ensuring within the scope of the discipline works that subcontractors are in compliance with the EHS requirements at the site.
- Document nonconformities, keep a log, and document the cost of non-quality.
- Issue a progress report to the Site Management.
- This role requires significant knowledge of HRSGs.
- Good technical knowledge of Gas Power Plants business and products.
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within the power industry.
