Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and assisting with various operational tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.

- Assist in stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure availability of items.

- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer experience.

- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations.

- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station premises, including the convenience store area.

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while adhering to company policies.

- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer service capabilities.

- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.

- Basic math skills are required for processing transactions accurately.

- Knowledge of merchandising techniques is a plus.

- Ability to demonstrate product knowledge effectively through demos.

Pay: $15.59 - $16.50 per hour
