We are hiring a senior maintenance technician. You will inspect, repair, install and perform preventative maintenance on various industrial metal working equipment. These including drilling machines, burning tables, brake presses, welders, pole turners, powder coating equipment, lift trucks, etc.

You will be responsible to keep records on all repairs and maintenance for the plant and help source repair parts and supplies. You will be required to work with and assist outside technicians as needed.

To do well in this role you should have previous experience in industrial maintenance and repairs. You should have good knowledge of electrical, mechanics and hydraulics. You should be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read schematics and repair manuals.

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:

- Conducting routine inspections of industrial equipment and maintain necessary documentation .

- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and installations of industrial equipment.

- Consult and report to the Operations Manager for major issues and repairs.

- Oversee and assist contractors when outside techs are necessary.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on equipment.

- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

- Ability interpret repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.

- Experience rigging and using cranes and forklifts.

- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.

- Strong organizational and follow up skills.

- Eye for detail.

- Professional presentation and attitude.

- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

- Strong time management skills.

- Strong ability to work with others and keep a cool head.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
