Structural Fab LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Concrete Reinforcement Detailer to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate shop and placement drawings for rebar installation based on structural and architectural plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction drawings, reinforcement detailing standards, and experience with detailing software.

Key Responsibilities:
•Review structural and architectural drawings to produce rebar shop drawings and placing plans
•Generate bar bending schedules (BBS) and material takeoffs
•Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and reinforcement detailing standards (e.g., CRSI, ACI)
•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication shops to clarify details and resolve issues
•Communicate with customers and field crews to address RFI’s and coordinate delivery/installation
•Assist with estimating rebar quantities for bidding when needed
•Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in rebar detailing or structural drafting
•Proficiency with rebar detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, CADS RC, ASA, aSa, or Tekla Structures)
•Strong knowledge of construction documents and reinforcement practices
•Ability to read and interpret structural/architectural drawings and specifications
•Attention to detail and accuracy
•Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with 3D modeling software for rebar (e.g., Tekla Structures)
•Familiarity with concrete forming and construction site logistics
•Knowledge of bar list generation and fabrication shop processes
