This is a Tiffin, OH onsite opportunity
Position Summary: The Manager of Project Management will define and oversee the processing and coordination for all orders across all business lines including key account sales. Primary directive for the Manager of Project Management is to oversee sales/projects internal workflow from hand off to shipment, and assist with the scheduling of onsite project managers. Primary function of this role is to promote consistent post-award customer communication, improve upon/develop further optimal workflow/processes and provide consistent project status reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Work closely with Sales Account Managers and PM’s as well as both ENG and Production leads to meet customer’s delivery timeline expectations within the companies capacity.
•Ensure orders/projects are progressing through internal processes to prevent unnecessary delays.
•Lead/coach sales coordination staff to achieve optimal customer communication meeting company expectations.
•Maintain and/or develop further improved work processes for order transfer from sales to sales support, field project management and work order entry.
•Schedule and Coordinates customer requested factory acceptance tests (FAT)
•Department is to serve as point of contact for all post-award aspects of order coordination with customer.

•Create and maintain real-time order status reporting.
•Promote and maintain a positive relationship with key accounts and customers.
+ Oversee and nurture effective delivery of communication when customers timeline expectations cannot be met.
•Collaborate with leadership team to establish core business processes
•Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
•Travel to customer sites, customer offices, and company facilities as required.

•High School diploma or equivalent required
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
•5-7 years of previous Purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting required
•Familiarity with the Steel industry highly preferred.
•Project management skills required
