About the position:
Are you a dynamic and creative individual eager to gain hands-on marketing experience? Our summer Marketing Internship offers you the chance to work closely with our marketing team, where you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and distributing marketing materials, supporting internal and external initiatives, and acquiring invaluable project management skills. This exciting role will encompass various tasks, including project management, ordering promotional materials, content creation, graphic design using Canva templates, and web content management. You will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment that offers both in-office and remote work opportunities
This is a hybrid position and will require time in the office and working independently remotely.
Major Duties / Responsibilities:
- Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across email, web, and social channels. Help build audience lists, schedule sends, and track performance.
- Content Creation: Draft and design marketing materials including emails, blog posts, landing pages, and social media content. Collaborate on visuals using Canva and Salesforce Account Engagement.
- Digital Advertising: Learn to support the management of campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn—helping with keyword research, ad copywriting, and performance reporting.
- SEO and Blog Management: Conduct keyword research, optimize existing web pages and blogs for SEO, and contribute new ideas for content that supports campaign goals.
- Analytics and Reporting: Gather data and insights from analytics dashboards (Google Analytics, social platforms, etc.) to help evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Creative Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to strengthen campaign messaging, visuals, and audience engagement.
- Team Support: Provide general marketing assistance to the Growth Marketing Manager and wider marketing team as needed, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to tone, clarity, and accuracy.
- Critical Thinker: Ability to approach challenges creatively and analytically; enjoys problem-solving and finding new ways to improve outcomes.
- Self-Driven Learner: Motivated to take initiative, ask questions, and learn new platforms and tools.
- Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English, Philosophy or a related field.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and eager to learn marketing tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Salesforce, ChatGPT, and Canva.
- Collaborative and Reliable: Works well both independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative Mindset: Interest in design, branding, analytics and/or storytelling.
