Job Overview
Solify Canada Inc. is seeking a 309A Licensed Electrician to join our growing operations team. This role focuses on residential and light commercial electrical installations supporting renewable energy and energy-efficient systems. The successful candidate will work independently and alongside senior electricians to deliver high-quality, code-compliant electrical work across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs in residential and light commercial settings
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements
- Assist with service upgrades, panel work, wiring, and equipment connections
- Coordinate with project managers, Master Electricians, and other trades onsite
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Maintain job documentation and follow company safety procedures
- Travel to job sites across Ontario as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician License (Ontario)
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable traveling to job sites throughout Ontario
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical work in construction environments
Assets (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
- Experience working with or alongside HVAC systems
- Familiarity with battery storage or energy-efficient technologies
