Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Solar Crew Lead Electrician to oversee solar installation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves leading a team, managing electrical installations, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and supervise a crew of electricians and installers during solar PV system installations.
•Perform and oversee electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connections for solar arrays, inverters, and battery systems.
•Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local codes.
•Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal performance.
•Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
•Coordinate with project managers to meet timelines and quality standards.
•Train and mentor crew members, promoting safety and skill development.
•Document work and maintain accurate project records.
•Provide excellent customer service, explaining system functionality to clients.
Qualifications:
•Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
•3+ years of electrician experience, with 2+ years in solar PV installations.
•Strong knowledge of electrical systems and solar components.
•Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
•Physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment.
•NABCEP certification is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
