The Site Operations Lead position is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Satokie. Oversee the day-to-day operations of crypto mining facilities. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this Operations Site Lead will be a primary driver of safe and efficient operations at our Odessa Site.
The Site Operations Lead is responsible for maintaining and improving Satokie’s standards for safe and efficient mining facilities. In addition, the Site Lead is responsible for driving a culture of professionalism, operational excellence, training and creating a place where people love to work and build a career.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess great communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, high dependability and a broad knowledge of mining operations. Including familiarity and comfortability with networking concepts and troubleshooting, Modbus systems and troubleshooting, general electrical theory, miner management platforms, and basic miner repair.
The Site Operations lead will be the primary point of contact for the Director of Mining Operations and EVP of Field Operations, as well as vendors and technicians working on the site. Strong written communication and report drafting skills will be required.
Responsibilities:
•Achieve Hash Rate and Uptime goals at your assigned site. Promptly report any obstacles to achieving these goals to the Site Manager and work to solve them with urgency.
•Promptly report and solve any network or infrastructure related issues affecting uptime and hash rate performance.
•Flexible Schedule and able to work “On-Call” schedule
•Maintain health of the fleet of miners deployed onsite. Executing all necessary repairs and/or preparing units for warranty shipment.
•Work with Director of Operations and Management team to constantly improve standardized processes at your assigned site.
•Act as the primary point of contact for onsite techs, vendors, and logistics at designated site for day-to-day operations.
•Prepare reports to inform management and clients of site production and progress towards objectives.
•Collaborate with remote monitoring team and other offsite teams. Provide necessary information and access for all offsite teams to complete their duties.
•Ensure safe working conditions for our Employees and Assets, maintaining OSHA standards on-site.
•Provide coaching to team members to enhance their contribution to a positive work environment.
•Work cross team for deployment to ensure the project goal achieved.
•Review and revise SOPs to maintain relevance and compliance with current situation
•Provide remote assistance with miner related troubleshooting assistance when working from home
•Provide direct workflow and ensure productivity on assign sites when remote
Qualifications:
•Previous experience leading a Load Center operations or maintenance team with a record of meeting uptime and production targets.
•Previous experience with Capital and O&M budgets
•Previous experience planning, scheduling, and delegating complex tasks
•Previous experience with a daily work management program and prioritizing equipment risks
•Leadership Experience: 2+ years
•OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred)
