Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the dispatching of freight, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing a team of dispatchers. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. The Dispatch Manager will utilize various transportation management systems to optimize routes and enhance operational efficiency.
Duties
•
Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring efficient routing and timely delivery of freight.

Utilize systems such as SyteLine and Oracle Transportation Management to manage logistics effectively.
•
Analyze data from GPS and transportation management systems to improve performance metrics.
•
Communicate with drivers and customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues.
•
Train and mentor dispatch staff on best practices in phone etiquette and effective communication.
•
Monitor freight movement, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
•
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
