- Manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met.
- Supervise staff training and development, providing coaching on food handling, customer service, POS systems (Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end.
- Lead shift management by coordinating staffing schedules, supervising team performance, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and sanitation practices across all kitchen and dining areas.
- Conduct interviews for prospective team members, participate in hiring decisions, and support onboarding processes.
- Monitor customer feedback to enhance service quality and resolve any issues promptly with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to diversify revenue streams and elevate guest experiences.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting efforts to control costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally in quick service or fast food restaurants with casual dining or hospitality backgrounds.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of training & development of staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong background in inventory control, food handling procedures, and cash handling responsibilities.
- Experience managing shifts in a restaurant setting with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with catering or banquet operations is a plus; hotel or barista experience can be advantageous for diverse culinary exposure.
