About This Job
Proline Pipe Equipment Inc. manufactures, rents and sells quality equipment and supplies to the pipeline construction industry. We are looking for Apprentice Millwright. This is a full-time opportunity with a guarantee work week of Monday to Friday.
We are currently seeking a candidate to perform the following duties:
•
Service equipment for rental purposes (in shop and field setting) various pieces of equipment.
•
Inspect equipment when returned from rent for damages and repair or replace defective parts.
•
Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and chain & belts to precise tolerances.
•
Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.
•
Perform predictive and operational procedures,
•
Scheduled on call requirements
•
Assist in other areas as requested
•
Preferred certificates would be idea not necessary
Skills that are required:
•
Millwright Apprentice or Journeyman
•
Willing to work overtime as needed
•
Willing to leave with short notice for service requirements
•
Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs
•
Must have a valid driver’s license and produce a clean drivers abstract
•
Must be able to pass random drug testing
•
Ability to prioritize tasks for completion in a timely manner
•
Strong attention to detail
•
