Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and fabrication, with expertise in designing and creating tools, dies, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or GED

- Good Mechanical Aptitude

- Journeyman card or 6 years’ experience working on tooling

- Excellent communication skills

- Critical thinking skills

- Prior experience working with basic toolroom equipment

- CNC and EDM programming a plus

Job Description

- Review tooling after the production run to decide what needs to be accomplished

- Sharpen tooling as needed

- Make new sections as needed

- Clean tooling after each production run

- Create spare sections as needed

- Read prints from Engineering to create blocks for new tooling/repairs/prototypes

- Build new tooling for customers based on the required design

- Complete Engineering changes as required by customer demands

- Train and develop apprentices as needed

- Aid in keeping the equipment in the toolroom and Pressroom running effectively

- Full Time first shift 7:00-3:30

- Hourly rate based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
