The Night Shift Chemical Operators are responsible for monitoring the production process to ensure the sand is properly coated based on specifications. Chemical Operators are also responsible for bagging specific products for customer pickup. Work Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 pm to 6 am (12 hour shifts).
Ensure proper labeling of bagged material, recovered materials, and waste streams.
Unload totes and drums of raw materials from incoming trucks.
Operate an automatic bagging machine which fills/stacks 50 lb bags or 2000 lb super sacks.
Operate a forklift to move/stage/store pallets of sand bags in proper locations.
Operate a front end payloader to load sand into the system.
Monitor process conditions and product quality based on samples and feedback from quality control to maintain the quality of the product being produced.
Monitor the performance of process equipment and provide feedback on equipment issues.
Perform plant maintenance as directed including assisting shift mechanic with repairs as extra set of hands.
Maintain safe, neat and orderly work areas in and around the facility and perform housekeeping as directed.

Be able to complete the job while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, up to and including SCBA, as required.
Must have basic computer operating skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook)
Previous experience operating a skid steer loader, forklift, bobcat or other small power equipment.
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to obtain a PCP Level 3 according to the Department of Labor standards.
Follow written and oral instructions and be able to communicate both verbally and written in the English language.
