OHIO811 is seeking an enthusiastic Public Awareness and Services Coordinator (Liaison) to join our Public Education & Outreach Team! This position plays a crucial role in our quest to promote safe digging. You will be working closely with contractors, excavators, contract locators, and our member network of facility owners in the Southeast part of the state ranging from Columbiana County to Lawrence County.

As a Public Awareness and Services Coordinator, you will also play a pivotal role in public awareness initiatives such as providing safety talks, participation in industry association events, the development and administration of additional educational programs and stakeholder mediation. You will be responsible for various damage prevention programs including the coordination of Damage Prevention Council activities. Membership Development, recruiting and retention will also be a main focus of the position.

The schedule is flexible but will require extensive travel within the areas of responsibility which may include overnight and weekend availability at times.

Bachelor’s Degree in business or related OR the equivalent combination of related training and experience preferred. Prior Public Speaking experience is a plus!

- Able to drive for extended amounts of time.

- Valid Driver’s license.
