- The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. This role ensures data integrity, security, and accessibility across multiple systems, enabling data-driven decision-making within the organization. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
processes and developing
Power BI dashboards
for executive reporting.
- Data Pipeline Development:
Design, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Database Management:
Build and maintain relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Data Integration:
Integrate data from various sources (APIs, cloud platforms, ERP systems) into centralized repositories.
- FP&A Support:
Collaborate with Finance teams to provide accurate, timely data for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Power BI Development:
Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for financial and operational insights.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and database design; Experience with big data technologies; Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); Familiarity with data modeling and warehousing; Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- FP&A Knowledge:
Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Power BI Expertise:
Ability to design and optimize dashboards, and data models.
- Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with real-time data streaming.
- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines.
- Certifications in cloud or data engineering
- Power BI or Microsoft Data Analyst certification
- Accuracy and timeliness of FP&A data support.
- Reliability and uptime of data pipelines.
- Quality and usability of Power BI dashboards.
- Efficiency in processing large datasets.
