NAFCO is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Sales Representative to expand our presence and strengthen customer relationships within the structural steel and construction markets. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, a deep understanding of industry needs, and the ability to represent NAFCO’s capabilities with confidence and technical competence.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow NAFCO’s market share within the assigned region.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new structural steel opportunities with general contractors, owners, and engineering firms.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular communication and in-person visits.
- Conduct jobsite meetings, project walk-throughs, and customer presentations—up to 60% travel required.
- Understand project specifications, drawings, and steel package requirements to effectively communicate NAFCO’s value and capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with estimating, project management, and executive leadership to deliver accurate proposals and exceptional service.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, forecasts, and market trends using CRM tools.
- Represent NAFCO professionally at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- 3–5 years of sales experience in structural steel, commercial construction, or industrial manufacturing required.
- Strong working knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes and industry standards preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing a multi-state territory with limited oversight.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60%.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
