JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Mig RobotProgrammer Reports To: Production Manager

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Seeking an experienced Welder with Knowledge of Robotics. The responsibilities in carrying out the daily duties of a Mig Robot Programmer/ Fixture maker, including but not limited to fabrication of fixtures to create metal assemblies as specified by work order, blueprints, drawing, templates, layout or verbal instructions. Quality control, assisting, coaching and instructing machine operators for the qualitative and timely completion of projects.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•Set up machines with proper electrodes, fixtures, and machine setting to ensure integrity of parts.
•Utilizes MIG Robot machines according to specifications and with employee safety as the primary concern, followed by quality, then productivity.
•Ensures and verifies quality of fabricated parts by using samples, weld tests, drawings, and proper measuring tools.
•Plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of physical properties of metal.
•Understands welding techniques and industry best-practices.
•Provides input to enhance existing production methods.
•Works independently with minimum supervision and/or willing to work in a team environment, which may include working on projects and/or equipment that is outside of original job scope.
•Conducts training, coaching, and development of team members.
•Continually strives to meet Midland Metal Products employment standards, policies, and regulations.
•Assists with other departments when necessary.
•Maintains awareness of, and continually practices, safe work habits.
•Maintains an organized and clean work area.
•Works overtime when needed.
•Able to work in a variety of temperature conditions.
•Maintains accurate records, both paper and electronic, related to incoming and outgoing materials, job orders, shipping tags, etc.
•Continually updates knowledge of fabricating equipment and forming industry standards.
•Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
•Attending company-sponsored training as required (i.e. external, in-house, web/computer based, etc.)
•Add any guides that may help to eliminate errors if appropriate to fixtures.

•Fabricate fixtures / gauges needed to fabricate parts against the approved sample.
•Assist with other departments when necessary.
•Work overtime when needed.
•Attend company-sponsored training (i.e. external, in-house, web/computer based, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
